The Hollywood Critics Association Awards (HCA TV Awards), known for honouring outstanding achievements in television across a wide range of genres, including drama, comedy, limited series, and reality TV, unveiled its list of nominees for the 2023 edition.
Among the nominations, two popular anime series, Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia, have emerged as contenders in the Best Streaming Animated Television Series or TV Movie category.
Attack On Titan and My Hero Academia will be competing against Animaniacs, Harley Quinn, amongst other animates series’. Checkout the full list of nominations under Best Streaming Animated Television Series or TV Movie category below:

The nominees for this year’s HCA TV Awards were selected through an anonymous voting process conducted by the HCA’s TV Awards Committee. The committee, which consists of 27 members, participated in voting across more than 70 categories to determine the final nominees.
Moreover, it was also revealed that the presentation of the 2023 HCA TV Awards, which was initially scheduled for Aug 12-13, 2023, will be delayed due to labour strikes. The Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike and a potential strike by the Screen Actors Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG/AFTRA) have affected the ceremony’s timing. A new date for the awards ceremony is yet to be determined.
The Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) is a film critic organization in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 2016 as the Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society and renamed in 2019.
