Ayakashi Triangle To Restart Broadcast On July 10; Reveals New PV Featuring Unaired Cuts

The official Website of Ayakashi Triangle announced on June 16, 2023, that it will restart broadcast from episode 1 of the anime from July 10, 2023, and will subsequently air upto episode 12 without any delays.

The website also revealed a new promotional video showcasing new cuts of the unaired episodes. Moreover, it was also revealed that Shirogane, who had been hiding various secrets, will be undergoing a remarkable transformation.

The anime had gone on a hiatus for the second time after the broadcast of episode 6 due to COVID-19.

Ayakashi Triangle anime started airing on Jan 9, 2023.

The main cast members include:

  • Shoya Chiba as Matsuri Kazamaki (male)
  • Miyu Tomita as Matsuri Kazamaki (female)
  • Kana Ichinose as Suzu Kanade
  • Tessho Genda as Shirogane

The anime adaptation of Ayakashi Triangle is directed by Noriaki Akitaya at connect, with Kei Umabiki serving as the assistant director. Shogo Yasukawa and  Hideki Furukawa is in charge of screenplay and character design respectively. The music is being composed by Rei Ishizuka.

Ayakashi Triangle, is a Japanese fantasy, romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki. It was serialized in publisher Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from June 2020 to April 2022, and has been transferred to the Shonen Jump+ website since April 2022, with its individual chapters collected and published by Shueisha into ten tankobon volumes as of September 2022.

The manga has been licensed for English release in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment, and Shueisha also simultaneously publishes the series in English and Spanish for free on the Manga Plus app and website.

Ayakashi Triangle focuses on exorcist ninja Matsuri Kazamaki, as he tries to defend his childhood friend, the Ayakashi Medium Suzu Kanade, from evil spirits called ayakashi. However, during a battle to save Suzu’s life, Matsuri is turned into a girl[b] after being cursed by Shirogane, the King of Ayakashi. With no apparent way to reverse the transformation, Matsuri is forced to live publicly as a girl in the foreseeable future as he and Suzu deal with both the friendly and the malicious ayakashi they encounter as well as their growing romantic feelings for each other, all while trying to break Matsuri’s curse for him to return to his original masculine form.
