Bocchi The Rock! anime’s chief animation director, Kerorira, unveiled a new book titled “FROG SKETCH”. This 270-page full-color book includes full-color illustrations, as well as essential corrections to the anime adaptation.
In a surprising turn of events, Kerorira’s booth, i.e., the booth that sold the book in Comiket 102 attracted a never ending queue of eager enthusiasts waiting to get their hands on the copy of the limited edition book. Photographs capturing the scene took social media by storm.
The queue, which was termed the “Kerorira Line,” expanded from a modest crowd to over hundreds, waiting in the scorching heat for the book that was only available within the convention grounds.
One fan even shared a snap of the map tracing the path of the queue. It included two loops around the parking lot and the open space of the venue, extending out to the road and beginning a second loop there.
Comiket 102 attracted a record attendance of 260,000 people over the course of two days, marking a significant increase compared to the previous year’s attendance.
Comiket 102 took place on Aug 12-13, 2023,
