Chained Soldier Gets a Studio Change for Season 2

The official website from the anime of battles and fantasy Chained Soldier (Mato Seihei no Slave), based on the manga by the writer Takahiro and the artist Yohei Takemurarevealed on Saturday that the new season will have a new anime team and studio. In addition to that, a new visual has been unveiled:

Masafumi Tamura (Virgin Angel, Wise Man’s Grandchild) will now direct the anime at the studio Passionand Keiya Nakano (AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue, Loner Life in Another World, Keijo!!!!!!!!) will be responsible for character design.

For now it has not been defined whether Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) will resume composition of the series, and Ryōta Kanō and Akira Kindaichi (Bakugan Battle Planet) will write the script.

About the first season of Chained Soldier

The story takes place in a world where a demonic gate has unleashed monsters known as Shūki. A special peach tree is capable of granting special powers, but only to women. The story begins when an unlucky boy named Yūki Wakura meets Uzen Kyōka, a girl who has obtained the power of the peach tree, and is the captain of the 7th Anti-Demon Squad.

It is worth remembering that Junji Nishimura (Ranma ½) was the general director of the first season, and Gorō Kuji (Bungo and Alchemist -Gears of Judgment-) directed the anime in Seven Arcs. Hiroyuki Yoshii (Tawawa on Monday) designed the characters.

Unfortunately, the series is not available for streaming. The rights are held by Sentai FilmWorks.
