Gone are the days of Wonder Woman and Catwoman dominating cosplay at Indian Comic Cons, as a new wave of fans are emerging, who are leaning more towards the world of anime, particularly showcasing the female anime characters at these events.

According to Comic Con India, through meticulous cosplay, of characters such as Lady Tsunade from Naruto and Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon, dedicated enthusiasts not only pay homage to these characters but also embody the qualities of courage and empowerment they represent.

On the International Women’s Day, Comic Con India has revealed the top anime characters cosplayed by women during the event, showcasing a trend that highlights empowerment and inspiration in the country’s pop culture landscape. Check them out below:
