Deku Takes Center Stage In New My Hero Academia Season 7 Teaser Visual

The official website of My Hero Academia revealed a new electrifying teaser visual, PLUS ULTRA Ver., for the most anticipated 7th season of the anime on June 16, 2023, as a part of Hero Day celebration.

The visual features Deku all set to face new challenges with action and intensity.

June 16 is celebrated as Hero Day every year, to commemorate the the iconic battle between All Might and All For One, which unfolded in episode 49 of the My Hero Academia season 3.

As a part of the celebration, Animate stores, a popular anime merchandise retailer, has announced a nationwide fair exclusively dedicated to My Hero Academia.

During the fair, which will run from June 17-30, 2023, fans visiting any Animate store (excluding online purchases) will have the opportunity to obtain a limited-edition postcard featuring the original PLUS ULTRA Ver. visual.

 My Hero Academia Season 6 started airing from Oct 1, 2022, with the second cour starting from Jan 7, 2023.

Like the previous seasons, Studio Bones is in charge of animating the series. My Hero Academia Season 6 will adapt the war arc from the manga.

The official website also listed the staff for season 6. Key staff from the previous season of the anime have been retained.

The cast from previous seasons will also be reprising their role in My Hero Academia Season 6. Eve performed the new opening theme song “Bokura no,” while SIX LOUNGE performed the ending theme “Kitakaze” for cour 2.

My Hero Academia is a manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters collected into 33 tankōbon volumes as of February 2022. The series has numerous spin-off manga, including My Hero Academia: Smash!!, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes and My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions.

The manga received a TV anime adaptation by Studio Bones. Its first season aired in Japan from April to June 2016, followed by a second season from April to September 2017, third season from April to September 2018, fourth season from October 2019 to April 2020, and a fifth season from March to September 2021.

It has also received three animated films, titled My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, and My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission respectively. There are plans for a live-action film by Legendary Entertainment.

As of January 2022, the manga had over 65 million copies in circulation worldwide.
