Delicious in Dungeon thrills with a new trailer

At the end of the broadcast in today’s episode, the production of the animated adaptation of the manga “Dungeon Meshi (Delicious in Dungeon)” revealed a new promotional video, in which they confirm that the series will continue its broadcast next week with the second part. Let us remember that the series will have a total of 24 chapters.

Additionally, in the video they show us a fragment of the opening, titled “Fate” and performed by Sumika. The ending is titled “Kira Kira no Ash” and performed by Regal Lily.

Finally, new members of the Japanese voice cast were also announced, they are:

• Mitsuho Kambe as Izutsumi.
• Yoko Hikasa as Maizuru.
• Arisa Shida as hien.
• Akari Kito as Benichidori.
• Yoshino Furuya as Inutade.
• Yu Kobayashi as Thistle.

The series began broadcasting on January 4 in Japan and we can enjoy it through Netflix. Delicious in Dungeon is a work written and illustrated by Ryouko Kui and its first publication took place in February 2014 through the magazine fed up from the publisher Kadokawa.

Synopsis of Delicious in Dungeon

After the Golden Kingdom is driven underground by a mad wizard, its king emerges, promising all his treasure to whoever defeats the wizard, before crumbling. The guilds are encouraged by this promise and traverse the labyrinthine dungeon in search of the wizard.

Laios, the leader of one of these guilds, encounters a dragon that annihilates his group and devours his sister Falin. Despite having lost all of his supplies and belongings, Laios, along with Marcille, an elven healer, and Chilchuck, a halfling thief, immediately re-enter the dungeon, determined to save Falin.

As time is of the essence, Laios suggests the taboo of eating dungeon monsters as a means of gathering supplies. As they prepare their first meal in the dungeon, a dwarf named Senshi stops them.

A monster cooking enthusiast, he helps them prepare their monster ingredients for safe consumption. After learning of Laios’ circumstances, Senshi expresses his desire to cook a dragon and joins his guild, thus beginning their foray together into the dungeon full of food.
