While they cleared the training put forth by Mitsuri Kanroji and Obanai Iguro (comparitively faster) in the previous episode, Tanjiro and Zenitsu head to the strongest Hashira in the Demon Slayer next – Gyomei Himejima.

Tanjiro, having overcome the training with Iguro and Mitsuri, heads towards Himejima’s training grounds deep in the mountains along with Zenitsu. Briefly reuniting with Inosuke and Murata, who had already begun their training, they soon face the rigorous training imposed by Himejima.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It was serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, with its chapters collected in 23 tankobon volumes.

Season 1 of the anime aired from April to September 2019, with a sequel film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, released in October 2020 and became the highest-grossing anime film and Japanese film of all time.
