‘Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc’: Indian Theatrical Release Date Revealed!

In an exciting update for all Indian anime fans, Crunchyroll announced on Feb 5, 2024, that the much anticipated Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc is all set to hit the big screens in India.

Crunchyroll, along with Aniplex Inc. and Sony Pictures Entertainment, will be releasing the film in India, including in IMAX and premium large formats (PLFs), starting Feb 23, 2024.

Moreover, prior to the release of Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc, a special advanced screening for it will also be held in Mumbai on Feb 21, 2023.

Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc film will feature one-hour long first episode of Hashira Training Arc along with the final episode of Swordsmith Village Arc.

Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc anime series will release in Spring 2024.

The first season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime consisted of twenty-six episodes produced by Ufotable aired in Japan from April to September 2019.

A sequel film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, was released in October 2020 and became the highest-grossing anime film and Japanese film of all time.

A second season of the anime series, readapting the “Mugen Train” arc seen in the film in seven episodes and covering the “Entertainment District” arc from the manga in eleven episodes, aired from October 2021 to February 2022.

Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc, the third season of the anime, aired from April to June 2023. It consisted of 11 episodes. 

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It was serialized in Shueisha’s shonen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, with its chapters collected in 23 tankobon volumes.

It has been published in English by Viz Media and simultaneously published by Shueisha on their Manga Plus platform.
