Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! expands its availability to more consoles

SEGA carried out the launch of this Tuesday, July 16th Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam. The game was previously available for the Nintendo Switch family of consoles,

The game is now available with a free update (v1.10) for all available platforms, which adds the following:

• Genya Shinazugawa and Kanao Tsuyuri as playable characters.
• Additional stamps, frames and avatar images in the game.
  • Stamps are used for in-game communication during “Sweep the Board!” mode.
  • Frames and avatar images are used for player cards, profiles that are shared with other players in local and online play.

This free update also includes other improvements to online matchmaking, along with minor technical fixes.

Please note that an internet connection is required to download and install the update. Depending on the console you choose, a paid membership to Nintendo Switch Online, PlayStation Plus, or Xbox Live Gold is also required to play online.

About the digital edition

Those who order the digital edition for any of the available platforms will unlock the following:

• Base game ($59.99 USD)
• A set of four stamps with Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira.
  • Stamps are used by players to communicate within the game and can be used in the “Sweep the Board” game mode.

• Roll the dice to become the strongest Demon Slayer swordsman. – Iconic locations from the anime, such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa, appear as boards in this game. Advance around the board by rolling dice. The board alternates between day and night. During the day, prepare for the night with events and mini-games. At night, you’ll search for demons to defeat.

• Take control of iconic characters – Choose your favorite characters from the Demon Slayer Corps, including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Hashira! Nezuko appears on the board to assist players as a support character.

• Enjoy various mini games – Compete against others or work in teams of two in a variety of mini-games! At certain points, you’ll encounter powerful demons like Akaza, and all players must work together to defeat them!
