Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will close its story with a trilogy of films
On the occasion of today’s broadcast of the last episode of Hashira Training Arc from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Crunchyroll has announced the acquisition of the long-awaited Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castlewhich will arrive exclusively in theaters around the world as a epic trilogy of films.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will distribute the three films worldwide, except for some Asian territories, including Japan. No date has been announced. The three-part cinematic event represents the final arc and culmination of the hugely popular and award-winning shonen anime series.
What is Demon Slayer about?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published by SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies published.
The franchise has earned the admiration of millions of fans around the world since its debut in 2018. The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is murdered by a demon, joins the Demon Hunter Corps to convert his younger sister Nezuko back into human after she transformed into a demon.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba It first premiered in April 2019 with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arcfollowed by the feature film Mugen Train in October 2020, and the television series Mugen Train Arcand Entertainment District Arc, from 2021 to 2022.
In 2023 the arc premiered on Crunchyroll Swordsmith Villageshortly after the film experience Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village–. In 2024, the premiere of Hashira Training Arcshortly after Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training– was in theaters. Animation production is being handled by ufotable.
