Recent news about the Demon Slayer franchise has left more than one fan speechless. Yesterday Aniplex together with Ufotable announced through a live broadcast, the launch of the first international event dedicated to the franchise created by the mangaka Koyoharu Gotouge, which will take place under the name of Demon Slayer World Tour.

This upcoming event will feature the exhibition of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba-To the Swordsmith Village– a special cut of the last two episodes of the previous season of the Red Light District Arc, acclaimed for their impressive action scenes and harrowing story, along with previously unseen footage from the following season. For this occasion, the material has been taken to a 4K resolution and the music has been completely remixed, to make it a unique experience on the big screen.

The Demon Slayer World Tour has the purpose of gathering thousands of fans from 7 cities around the world: Tokyo, Los Angeles, Paris, Berlin, Mexico, Seoul and Taipei. This is the first event of its kind to take place in Latin America.

In the case of the Mexican territory, its exhibition will run under the hand of the Konnichiwa! in collaboration with the same Aniplex of America. Its release is currently scheduled for Saturday March 4 of next year in Mexico. Soon more information will be provided by the Spanish-speaking distributor through its social networks.
