Detective Conan: The Bride Of Halloween Garners 7.5+ Billion Yen With 5.41 Million Footfall

The 25th movie installment in the Detective Conan anime series, “Detective Conan: Bride Of Halloween” has earned more than 7.5 Billion yen in 31 days after its release on April 15. The movie has had a footfall of over 5.41 million people.

Detective Conan manga is created by Gosho Aoyama focusing on the life of Conan Edogawa who solves series of difficult cases. The series began serialization in Shogakukan in 1994. It received an anime adaptation in 1996. It sold more than 250 million copies.

The Bride Of Halloween movie is the highest grossing movie of the anime franchise. The first day gross earnings of The Bride of Halloween was estimated to be about 523 million yen (4.13 million USD), 24% more than The Fist of Blue Sapphire, which released on April 19, 2019, and earned 422,465,000 yen (3.34 million USD) on 313,724 admissions on its first day.

The movie team expect the movie to earn more than 10 billion yen.

The Bride of Halloween‘s staff includes Susumu Mitsunaka (Layton Mystery Tanteisha: Katori no Nazotoki File, Haikyu!! Movie 4: Battle of Concepts) as director, Takahiro Ohkura (Case Closed: The Crimson Love Letter) as scriptwriter, and Yuugo Kanno (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean) as music composer.

TMS Entertainment is the animation production company. Meanwhile, the cast includes Minami Takayama as Conan Edogawa, Wakana Yamazaki as Ran Mouri, Rikiya Koyama as Kogoro Mouri, Tooru Furuya as Rei Furuya, and Mai Shiraishi as Yelenika.
