The official Twitter account of One Piece has provided fans with a behind-the-scenes look into the manga creator Eiichiro Oda’s artistic process for the upcoming Volume 106.
According to the Twitter account, Oda has adopted a hybrid approach that combines digital sketching with traditional pen and paper analog techniques to bring the cover artwork to life.
The final illustration for One Piece Volume 106 will be unveiled on various social media platforms of the franchise in the coming days.

One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump since July 1997, with its individual chapters compiled into 105 tankobon volumes as of March 2023.
An anime adaptation, produced by Toei, premiered on Fuji TV on October 20, 1999, has aired more than 1,000 episodes. Additionally, Toei has developed fourteen animated feature films, one original video animation, and thirteen television specials.
The anime series was licensed by 4Kids Entertainment for an English-language release in North America in 2004 before the license was dropped and subsequently acquired by Funimation in 2007.
A live-action adaptation by Netflix is set to release on Aug 31, 2023.
