Jujutsu Kaisen mangaka Gege Akutami recently shared his thoughts on the latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 (episode 15), which aired on Nov 2, 2023, encouraging fans not to skip the recaps of the episodes.
He stated that most streaming services often provide an option to skip the recap portion that precedes the opening credits. However, he was of the opinion that skipping it might not be the best course of action when it came to the second season of the anime.
Akutami explained that almost all of the content covering events from the previous episodes in the second season are essentially redone. By not skipping the recap, fans can get a better perspective of the events.
He also went on to mention a particular cut in the episode that stood out, humorously referring to himself as part of the “Birdie generation”. But he chose not to delve further into the details, citing it might be in bad taste.

Thank you for season two episode fifteen!!
Streaming services these days may give you the option to “skip recap” or something when it’s playing the parts before the OP starts, but for the second season almost all of the content that covers stuff from the previous episode are basically redone, so you get the most out of it if you don’t skip!!
There was a cut that stood out to me like crazy since I’m part of the Birdie generation, but it might be in bad taste so I won’t go into it.
