I Ended Up Marrying the Girl in My Class I Hated the Most Receives New Production Details

The event Aniplex x Kadokawa Anime Matsuri from this Friday revealed that Shōgo Sakata will act as Saito Hōjō for the television adaptation of the anime I Ended Up Marrying the Girl in My Class I Hated the Most (Seiju Amano Class no Dai Kirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta.).

The announcement also received the publication of the official promotional poster for the romantic series. The anime will star Hinaki Yano in the role of Akane Sakuramori (pictured right):

The production team in charge of the series was also revealed: Hiroyuki Oshima (episode director of Teasing Master Takagi-san) directs the anime in Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Tatsuya Takahashi (The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, Idoly Pride) supervises the scripts for the series, Nanako Tatsu (character design assistant for Date A Live IV and V) designs the characters and Arisa Okehazama (The Apothecary Diaries) composes the music.

The story centers on third-year high school student Saito Hōjō, who, due to strange circumstances, marries his classmate and “natural enemy” Akane Sakuramori. This heart-stopping romantic comedy follows the married life of two people who hated each other from the start.

More details, including the release date, are expected to be announced in the coming months.
