Kagurabachi Manga Gets French Release On Manga Plus; Print Volumes To Release In 2025
At the Manga Plus Stage event in Japan Expo 2024, it was announced that Kagurabachi manga will be getting released in French on the manga reading platform.
At the time of writing, the first three chapters of Kagurabachi are already available to read in French on Manga Plus.
The schedule for the release of next set of chapters is as follows:
- Chapters 4-32 will release from Aug 18, 2024.
- Chapters 33-50 will release from Sep 15, 2024.
Additionally, it was also announced that French publisher Kana will be releasing the print volumes of Kagurabachi in France. The print edition will hit the bookstores in February 2025 as part of the publisher’s Dark Kana collection.
A huge announcement celebration was done at Kana’s stage at Japan Expo 2024 to commemorate the news. Check it out below:
Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi has been on a purple patch recently, with the manga receiving immense support both in print and digital formats.
The third volume of the manga, which hit the shelves on July 4, 2024, is in high demand in Japan, just like the previous two volumes. Naruto author Masashi Kishimoto recommended Kagurabachi manga in the third volume.
Kagurabachi was also chosen as the best up-and-coming manga on Shueisha’s Manga Plus app by fans during Anime Expo 2024.
Viz will be releasing the volumes of the manga in English, with the first volume set to come out in Fall 2024.
Kagurabachi has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since September 2023. The first tankobon volume was released on Feb 2, 2024.
Viz Media and Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform are publishing the series in English.
It has also garnered significant international attention. The English version of Chapter 1 achieved the top spot in global views on MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA just one week after its debut.
