Look Back, the film based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga, will be released in Mexican theaters soon
This weekend the distributor Madness Entertainment announced the distribution in Mexican movie theaters of the film Look Backa title that has recently been released in Japanese cinemas. Check out the teaser with the announcement:
The plot follows two girls, Fujino and Kyomoto, who not only attend the same school, but also share a passion for drawing manga. Fujino is very confident in her talent and publishes the stories in the elementary school newspaper, receiving recognition from her peers and adults.
One day, they are informed that Kyomoto, a student who refuses to go to school, would also like to submit a manga to the newspaper. The love of drawing manga brings these two small-town girls together, until a terrible tragedy changes their lives forever.
The film is based on the one-shot manga by Tatsuki Fujimotocreator of Chainsaw Manoriginally published in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in July 2021. Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Flip Flappers) directs the feature film, and is also in charge of the script and character design. Production is handled by Studio Durian.
For now, Madness has not specified the release date of the film, nor in which Mexican movie theaters it will be shown.
