The official Facebook account of Manga Planet India, an online distribution service of officially licensed manga, announced on June 9, 2023, that they have postponed the launch of its digital platform due to technical reason.

The digital platform of Manga Planet India was originally supposed to launch in May 2023, however, it is now set to launch in India towards the end of 2023.

The exact date of launch will be announced at a later date on its official sources.

Manga Shakti, a joint project between Manga Planet and Kodansha, had a booth at Mumbai Comic Con 2022.

Manga Planet is a manga subscription service and was launched in November 2019. It originally started as a joint project between Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. and Fantasista, Inc. in 2012.
