MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES Season 2 Opening Theme Song Surpasses 10 Million Views On YouTube

In an exciting update, the official Twitter account of Mashle announced on Jan 21, 2024, that the opening theme song of MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES season 2 has achieved a remarkable feat of surpassing 10 million views on YouTube in just 2 weeks of its release. As of writing the video has hit 11,930,368 views.

The opening theme, titled Bling-Bang-Bang-Born, is performed by Creepy Nuts.

This is an incredible feat for the anime, considering that the opening theme song for season 1, titled Knock Out, performed by Taiiku Okazaki, only managed to hit 2.55 million views in nine months of its release.

MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES season 2 started airing on Jan 6, 2024. The second season of the anime adapted the Divine Visionary Selection Exam arc.

The first season aired from April 8 to July 1, 2023.

The staff of the anime had previously stated that Mashle manga will be completely animated. The plot of the anime is described as follows:

This is a world of magic.
This is a world in which magic is casually used by everyone.
In a deep, dark forest in this world of magic, there is a boy who is singlehandedly working out.
His name is Mash Burndead and he has a secret. He can’t use magic.

All he wanted was to live a quite life with his family.
But people suddenly start trying to kill him one day.
And he somehow finds himself enrolled in Magic School.
There, he sets his sights on becoming the ‘Divine visionary’, the elite of the elite.
Will his ripped muscles work against the best and brightest of the wizarding world?

Mashle: Magic and Muscles is a manga written and illustrated by Hajime Kōmoto. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since January 2020.

The manga ended with chapter 162.

In addition to the anime, Mashle series released its first novel titled Mash Burnedead and the Book of Adventures 1 on May 2, 2022, published by JUMP j BOOKS.

The novelization was done by Kiyoko Hoshi (Haikyū!! Shōsetsuban!!) and Hajime Komoto is credited as the original author.
