My Hero Academia: You’re Next previews its theme song in a new trailer




TOHO animation presented this Monday a new trailer for the film My Hero Academia: You’re Nextthe fourth anime feature film from the acclaimed hero franchise, reveals and previews the theme song “Homunculus” of Vaundyknown for making songs for Ousama Ranking or Spy x Family:

Tensai Okamura (Darker than Black) directs the film in BONES. Returning staff members from the television series and previous films include screenwriter Yōsuke Kurodacharacter designer Yoshihiko Umakoshiand the composer Yuki Hayashi. The original creator of the manga, Kōhei Horikoshiwill serve as general supervisor and original character designer.

What does it consist of? My Hero Academia: You’re Next?

The plot will advance in a mysterious giant fortress, where a man who resembles the ancient “Symbol of Peace”, All Might, will suddenly appear in a society that has collapsed due to war.

The film will have an original story that will take place around the same time period that the television anime is currently in, that is, during the collapse of society and the battle against the league of villains.

As we already mentioned, this is the fourth feature film, after the films Two Heroes (2018), Heroes Rising (2019), and World Heroes’ Mission (2021). The first two films reached Latin America thanks to the distribution of Konnichiwa!with a Mexican cast in its Latin dubbing, while the last one came from Funimation and Sony Pictures, in this case with the Miami cast.

The seventh season is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The first 5 seasons can be enjoyed through Netflix.
