My Love Story With Yamada-Kun At Lv999 Gets Live-Action Film

Mashiro’s My Love Story with Yamada-kun At Lv999 will be adapted into a live-action film set to premiere in Japan on March 28, 2025.

The film will star Ryuto Sakuma from HiHi Jets and Mizuki Yamashita from Nogizaka46, who will play the lead roles of Akito Yamada and Akane Kinoshita.

A trailer and visual were revealed to commemorate the announcement.

The film is directed by Yuka Yasukawa, with Anna Kawahara serving as the scriptwriter.

My Love Story With Yamada-Kun At Lv999 manga creator Mashiro expressed excitement about the adaptation, stating, “I’m thrilled that My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 is being made into a film. I’m grateful to the production team and the fans who have supported this project. When I first heard about it, it didn’t feel real, but now it’s slowly sinking in! While staying true to the original story, the film will offer a unique cinematic experience. I’m really looking forward to it, and I hope Yamada-kun fans will be excited too!“.

My Love Story with Yamada-kun At Lv999 began serialization on Comic Smart’s Ganma! manga website in March 2019. As of April 2024, the series’ individual chapters have been collected into nine volumes.

An anime television series adaptation produced by Madhouse aired from April to June 2023.
