Netflix announces its next anime releases for 2024 and 2025

This Thursday Netflix presented a very “lively” preview of the large catalog of animated films and series that will arrive during the remainder of this year and next year, which includes some notable titles from anime.

Netflix has become the go-to destination for animation, with more than 130 million households enjoying a variety of animated content every month. In series for adults, there are action series such as Arcane, The sunset of the godsother comedy ones like exploding kittens and the first animated series of tomb Raider.

In the case of anime fandom, it continues to grow on Netflix, whose programming reached more than one billion views in 2023. Of this, we have titles that sound promising, or are already known:

Leviathan

Synopsis: 2022. Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos: The Movie (Part 1 | Part 2)

Synopsis: The film covers the Shadow Galactica arc, the final chapter of the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series. Sailor Moon must stand up and fight once again against a new enemy: Shadow Galactica, an organization hell-bent on destroying everything and ruling the universe, and that begins eliminating her friends one by one. This charming feature film, directed by animation expert Yoshiyuki Momose (Spirited Away), is an unforgettable story about love, loss, and the healing power of the imagination animated by Studio Ponoc. Production is in charge Yoshiaki Nishimura (The Tale of Princess Kaguya), scripted by Yoshiaki Nishimura. The premiere will be this coming July 5, 2024

Ultraman: The Rise
