Netflix released a new trailer for the new Devil May Cry anime
It doesn't look like Dante has missed a step for his next animated series. Netflix published this Thursday during Geeked Week a new trailer for its adaptation of Devil May Cryshowcasing the action and demon-hunting scenes that have made Capcom games so beloved.
The series was first announced last year and is directed by Adi Shankarwho has already worked on Netflix adaptations such as Castlevania and Captain Laserhawk. The Korean study MIR (The Legend of Korra) is in charge of animation
Synopsis: Sinister forces are at work at the portal between the human and demon realms. At the center of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter-for-hire who doesn't know that the fate of both worlds hangs in the balance.
Devil May Cry is based on the popular action-adventure game of the same name, developed by Capcom and created by Hideki KamiyaThe game follows the hunter Dante, whose mission in life is to avenge his mother's death by killing all the demons.
The series will arrive on Netflix in April 2025.
