New Haikyu!! Reveals Visuals of Nekoma High Players! | Anime News
Hit volleyball franchise Haikyu!! is set to return this February with Haikyu!! the Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump, and fans can get excited with new visuals of eight Nekoma High players in action!
The Nekoma High team (with “neko” also meaning “cat”) has a friendly rivalry with their counterparts from Karasuno High (with “karasu” meaning “crow”), bringing forth the title Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump.
A long-awaited official match between these two teams will be the focus of the upcoming film, which is part of a two-part film that will serve as the finale for the anime series.
Inspired by Haruichi Furudate’s popular volleyball manga, Haikyuu!! follows the adventures of Karasuno High School’s boys volleyball team as they play their way to the top.
The TV anime began in 2014 and concluded in 2020 with a fourth season.
Haikyu!! the Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump will be released in Japan on February 16, 2024.
