The official YouTube channel of One Piece revealed a celebratory video to commemorate One Piece Film Red‘s 100 days run in the Japanese theatre on Nov 13, 2022.
The video looks back at the film’s build up from its announcement to Japanese theatrical release to running for 100 days, previewing Uta’s song “New Genesis”.
One Piece Film Red earnings has exceeded over 13 billion yen, with a footfall of over 13 million audiences.
Additionally, the film has earned US$7.5 Million in its 3 day run from Nov 3 to Nov 5 in the U.S.
The movie opened in Japan on Aug 6, 2022, collecting over 2 billion yen in its first weekend.
Goro Taniguchi returned to the franchise for the first time since 1998 to direct One Piece Film: Red. Tsutomu Kuroiwa was in charge of the screenplay. TOEI Animation animated the film with original author Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer.

The movie features and centers on the mysterious character Uta, who is teased to be Shanks daughter in the teaser. Uta is voiced by Kaori Nazuka (voice cast) and Ado (singing cast).
