One Piece will soon air on Azteca 7 in Mexico

July 24, 2022

The recent relationship between Toei Animation and the Mexican television network Azteca 7 continues to give something to talk about, since last Friday the 22nd, the TV channel announced through its different social networks the arrival on its programming of nothing more than the most important anime in the history of the cat with the hat company , one piece.

Within the announcement, it has not been disclosed what its respective release date would be for the channel’s programming, however, One Piece is expected to arrive with the Japanese version, uncensored and directly distributed by Toei Animation (version that is available on Netflix and HBO Max), and that specifically owns the redoubling made in Mexico by the Labo studio, and currently by the Audiomaster Candiani studio. It is worth mentioning that so far a total of 325 episodes dubbed into Latin Spanish of this anime have been released to date. So it is unknown how far Azteca 7 will manage to broadcast the epic search for Luffy together with the Mugiwaras crew for the mysterious One Piece. The greatest probability is that the network will broadcast the entire batch of chapters that make up the East Blue arc.

The franchise born from the successful manga written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda has previously had a stint on Mexican television, since the anime previously passed through the screens of Channel 5 between 2006 and 2008, later moving to GalavisiĆ³n between 2008 and 2009, and returning again to Channel 5 during 2011, but, with the criticized censored version distributed by 4Kids Entertainmentthe only version available for those years, which only had 104 episodes.

Synopsis of One Piece:
