Oshi no ko will release a film and a live action adaptation soon

More news is coming for Oshi no ko fans. And Amazon and Toei have officially announced the production of a film and a live-action series based on the seinen manga created by Aka Akasaka. Along with the announcement, a promotional image has been revealed in which the actors appear dressed as the characters in the film. Take a look at the cast:

• Kaito Sakurai like Aqua
• Nagisa Saitoformer member of the group =LOVE, as Ruby.
• Nanoka Hara as Kana Arima
• Mizuki Kayashima as Akane Kurokawa
• Year like Memcho

Toeise will distribute the film in Japanese cinemas, while the series will be available worldwide on the Amazon Prime Video streaming service starting in winter 2024.

Synopsis of Oshi no ko:

The story follows Goro, a doctor who is a big fan of idol Ai Hoshino. One day, the doctor is dealing with this young woman’s pregnancy, and just as she is about to give birth to her twin babies, he dies unexpectedly. However, the man is reborn as one of Ai’s twins, Aquamarine Hoshino, retaining the memories of her previous life.

At the moment the Oshi no Ko anime, produced by the animation studio Doga Kobo and released in April of last year, is not legally available in Latin America.
