Puella Magi Madoka Magica to Get New Game App This Year! | Game News
The newly launched official website and X account feature teaser images of Madoka by herself and with her magical girl comrades battling against Walpurgisnacht, as well as an animation of an Incubator with green eyes and ears.
While the new game is advertised as an app, the platforms are yet to be revealed. The specific release date and cast members (if featured) are also unknown.
Created by Magica Quartet and animated by Shaft, the landmark anime first aired in 2011, captivating fans all over the world with the juxtaposition of its cute character designs and dark story in which magical girls are doomed to become what they battle against.
A two-part compilation movie was released in 2012, followed by an original movie titled Rebellion in 2013. A sequel film titled Walpurgisnacht: Rising will premiere in winter 2024.
