The stars have aligned! the saga of sailor Moon will have a new anime adaptation in a two-part film titled Sailor Moon Spacewhich will have its theatrical debut on June 9 and 30 in Japan. With that being said, the idol group has been introduced Three Lightswhich is formed by a new trio of Sailor Guardians.
Likewise, through the trailer (which you can see below) the cast that will be in charge of giving life to this trio has been revealed. So, in the photo below, from left to right (unconfirmed romanizations):
- Saori Hayami What Sailor Starmaker (yor in SPY x FAMILY).
- Marina Inoue What Sailor Starfighter (Tohka in Date A Live).
- Ayane Sakura What Sailor Starhealer (rei in Do It Yourself!!).
On the other hand, the production team has Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) script manager, while Kazuko Tadano (Sailor Moon seasons 1 and 2) come back once more for the character designs. At the same time, Yasuharu Takanashi (Sailor Moon Crystal) returns to producing the music for the films, with Yumiko Kuga of Studio Jack (Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness) as an art director for the films.

Finally, it should be mentioned that Sailor Moon Space will adapt the “final battle” of the original manga series of Naoko Takeuchiwhich was previously adapted as the last arc of the original anime of sailor Moon titled Sailor Moon Sailor Stars. That being said, this new two-part film continues from the two-part film of Sailor Moon Eternal, which was released at the beginning of 2021 in Japan and in Netflix the 3 of June Worldwide.
