Sand Land: The Series, one of Akira Toriyama’s latest works, revealed a new trailer

Through its website, a new promotional video for the animated adaptation of the manga was revealed “Sand Land“, in which they show us the opening and closing themes, as well as a promotional image.

The opening is titled “Water Carrier” and performed by Kroi and the ending is titled “Drive My Idea” and will be interpreted by Tempalay.

Let us remember that the first 7 chapters will premiere on March 20 through Star Plus, subsequently, chapters 8 to 13 will premiere every Wednesday through the platform.

The first six episodes are labeled as the “arc.”Akuma no Ōji” (Prince of Demons), and episodes 7-13 will be a completely new arc of “Tenshi no Yusha” (Angelic Heroes), with the story set in a new place called “Forest Land.”

Sand Land is a short work written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama via magazine Weekly Shonen Jump of Shueisha and its first publication took place in May 2000 and it ended in August of that same year.

Synopsis of Sand Land

In the distant future, war has destroyed the entire Earth, leaving only a barren wasteland where the water supply is controlled by the greedy king. In search of a long-lost lake, Sheriff Rao asked the king of demons for help… and got the king’s son, Beelzebub, and his assistant, Thief.

Together, the unlikely trio sets out across the desert, facing off against dragons, bandits, and the deadliest enemy of all… the King’s own army! It’s a tank action-travel adventure in this new story from Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball Z!
