Sound! Euphonium Season 3 to Air From April 7! | Anime News

Music anime Sound! Euphonium will officially be back with Season 3 on April 7!

A promo video centered around Kumiko was revealed along with the premiere date.

The new season will see Kumiko – now the captain of her band club – aim for the top prize at the national competition in her final year of high school.

It will also feature a new character named Mayu Kuroe. Voiced by Haruka Tomatsu, she is a student who transfers to Kitauji High School from another school with a prestigious concert band.

Inspired by Ayano Takeda’s light novel series, Sound! Euphonium revolves around the Kitauji High School Concert Band Club.

Kyoto Animation produced the TV anime adaptation, which aired in 2015 with a second season following in 2016. A series of anime films has also been produced, including a spin-off titled Liz and the Blue Bird.

Sound! Euphonium Season 3 will air from April 7, 2024.
