The official website of Spy x Family anime unveiled two more original characters for the upcoming ‘SPY x FAMILY CODE: White’ anime film on Sep 22, 2023.
The newly announced characters and their cast members include:
- Banjo Ginga as Snyder, who aims to overturn the peace between the East and West.
Banjo Ginga’s comment regarding his role:
To all the fans of Anya, I must sincerely apologize for my recent behavior in my role. I never expected to play such an unpopular character. To treat such a young girl like that… I am deeply ashamed. I can hardly bear the guilt, and every night I cleanse my body and soul with sacred sake, repenting for my sins. Oh, is that a hallucination? I can’t possibly be another person. Anyway, when you go to the theater, please forgive my past wicked deeds and have a generous heart towards me.
P.S. This work will definitely be a hit. This one-of-a-kind Snyder with a keen sense of smell assures you. There is no doubt about it.

Takeuchi’s comment:
I was originally a fan of the source material, so I felt extremely honored to participate. Type F has a cool atmosphere, but it fights in a spectacular way!! SPY x FAMILY CODE: White will release on Dec 22, 2023. The movie will be an anime original, with Ichiro Okouchi working on the script.
Takashi Katagiri will serve as the director of the movie, with Kazuhiro Furuhashi supervising the animation.
Spy x Family season 2 will release in October 2023.
Spy x Family season 1 cour 1, produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliate stations in April 2022, and was licensed by Muse Communication in Asia and Crunchyroll worldwide.
Cour 2 of the anime started airing in Oct 1, 2022.
Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. The series has been serialized biweekly on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ application and website since March 2019, with the chapters collected in eleven tankobon volumes as of April 2023. It was licensed in North America by Viz Media.
As of March 2023, Spy × Family had over 30 million copies in circulation, making it one of the best-selling manga series.
