Through its official website, the animated adaptation of the manga Spy x Family revealed a new video and promotional image, in addition to giving us more details about its opening and closing themes. The video confirms that the series will premiere next October 6For our part, we know that the series will be redistributed on this side of the world through Crunchyroll.

Theme songs include:

• The opening is titled “Kurakura“and will be interpreted by Adothe song was written by Meiyo and composed by Yoko Kanno.

Let us remember that the franchise has a confirmed film that is scheduled to premiere on December 22 in theaters in Japan, this one is titled Spy x Family FAMILY CODE: White and it will not adapt any story from the manga, but rather it is an original story (filler, in other words).

Spy x Family is a work written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo and its first publication took place in 2019 through the website Shonen Jump Plus from the publisher Shueishathe work is currently in publication with 11 compiled volumes published.

Synopsis of Spy x Family

For the agent known as “Twilight,” no order is too high if it is for the sake of peace. Operating as Westalis’ master spy, Twilight works tirelessly to prevent extremists from sparking a war with the neighboring country Ostania.

For his latest mission, he must investigate Ostania politician Donovan Desmond by infiltrating his son’s school: the prestigious Eden Academy. Thus, the agent faces the most difficult task of his career: getting married, having a child and playing family.

Twilight, or “Loid Forger,” quickly adopts humble orphan Anya to play the role of a six-year-old daughter and prospective Eden Academy student. As a wife, she meets Yor Briar, a distracted office worker who needs a pretend partner to impress her friends.

However, Loid is not the only one with a hidden nature. Yor is actually the deadly assassin “Thorn Princess,” and for her, marrying Loid creates the perfect cover. Meanwhile, Anya is not the ordinary girl she seems to be; she is an esper, the product of secret experiments that allow her to read minds.

Although she discovers their true identities, Anya is thrilled that her new parents are cool secret agents! She would never tell them, of course. That would ruin the fun.
