The Irregular at Magic High School Unveils April Premiere! | Anime News

Fantasy anime The Irregular at Magic High School’s third season is set to begin airing this April!

A promo video and visual were released along with the big announcement. In addition to revealing the new season will consist of three parts, the video features the opening theme song, “Shouted Serenade” by anisong queen LiSA.

Originally a web novel by Tsutomu Sato, The Irregular at Magic High School takes place in a world where magic is a recognised technology. The story follows Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba, siblings who enrol at a magic school where the latter is considered a gifted magician. Meanwhile, despite Tatsuya’s poor ranking by school standards, he is marked as an “irregular” due to his unique talents.

The TV anime adaptation began in 2014, with a second season running from October to December 2020. The Reminiscence Arc was also adapted into a 71-minute anime that aired in December 2021.

The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 will air from April 2024.
