The Quintessential Quintuplets series announced on Friday, May 20, 2022, that the franchise will launch its first virtual-reality game this summer. The Quintessential Quintuplets Memories VR: Itsuki Edition will star one of the main characters from the anime series, Itsuki.

The VR game will let the players experience her everyday life.

A key visual, preview video, screenshots, and system requirements, which give a first look at the game were released on the official website along with the announcement.

The Quintessential Quintuplets Memories VR: Itsuki Edition is developed by NextNinja and Blackc, and is scheduled to release through Steam and Meta Quest platforms for the price of 3,500 yen ($29.99).

Negi Haruba’s original manga was previously adapted into two TV seasons, both consisting of 12 episodes.

The anime’s second season premiered on TBS on Jan 7 and finished airing on March 26, 2021.

The new season was originally scheduled to premiere in October 2020 but was delayed due to COVID-19. The anime featured a returning cast.

The manga launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2017, and Haruba ended the series in February 2020.

The magazine also published a new 52-page one-shot, titled “122+1,” on May 18. It was gifted as a bonus to the filmgoers for The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie, which premiered in theatres in Japan on May 20, 2022
