The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse manga goes on indefinite hiatus
This year’s issue 35 of the magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine of Kodansha notified that the manga The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will go on an indefinite hiatus due to the health of Nakaba Suzuki. The information was revealed at the same time that this week’s episode was not printed.
The magazine will announce the manga’s return date at a later date. However, in the preview for the magazine’s next issue, which is the combined 36th and 37th issues from August 7, a new chapter of the manga is still listed. It’s possible that the listing was not corrected before the magazine went to press.
About The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse
Suzuki launched the manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in January 2021, and has published around 17 compiled volumes to date. The company describes the first volume:
Synopsis: Percival has always lived with his grandfather on God’s Finger, a remote retreat high above the clouds. And though he loves the simple life, he secretly yearns for adventure. But Percival’s life changes forever when an intruder—who shares a chilling connection with him—snatches away everything he’s ever known.
With nothing else to do but chase after the one who took everything from him, Percival sets out on his own journey. During his trip, the sheltered boy discovers that there are many things he doesn’t know about normal life. Luckily, he finds friends along the way who help him cope, but how will they react when they discover Percival’s fate… and its connection to the end of the world?
Currently the first season of the anime adaptation is available on Netflix, both subtitled and dubbed into Latin Spanish.
