Tower of God receives premiere date on Crunchyroll for season 2




Crunchyroll announced this Tuesday that the release date for the second season of the anime Tower of God It will be on July 7, the day that will mark the end of the huge 4-year run, after the final season will premiere in 2020. Crunchyroll also presented a new key image:

The anime is a joint production of Crunchyroll and WEBTOON is part of the list Crunchyroll Originals. The production team, for its part, has undergone a notable number of changes.

Kazuyoshi Takeuchi (Armored Trooper Votoms: Alone Again) serves as chief director for the new season, and Akira Suzuki replaces Takashi Sano as director in The Answer Studio Co., Ltd.the latter in turn takes the place of Telecom Animation Film.

Erika Yoshida (Bocchi the Rock!) is once again in charge of the scripts for the series and also co-writes the scripts with additional writers Takeshi Miyamoto and Riuji Yoshizaki. Miho Tanino returns from the first season to design the characters, this time with Seigo Kitazawa (City Hunter The Movie: Angel Dust) e Isamatsu Kashima. Kevin Penkin recompose the music. NiziU performs the main and final theme of the season.

The first season had 13 episodes, which are currently available with dubbing and subtitling options.

The first season debuted on Crunchyroll in April 2020 and premiered in Japan on the same day through Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll describes the story:

SIU released the manhwa on NAVER WEBTOON in 2010 and later released the digital comic on English WEBTOON in July 2014.
