The highly anticipated Yuji vs Choso fight sequence in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode 13 has finally aired and it is fair enough to say that it broke the internet.
Amid the allegations of poor scheduling surrounding Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, the staff of the episode 13 certainly have exceeded all expectations, delivering one of the most iconic fights in the anime.
Fans all over social media are raving about not only the fight but also the episode as a whole.
They also praised the involvement of animator Tetsuya Takeuchi in the episode, emphasising on Takeuchi’s focus on intricate fabric and hair details.
Not to forget the direction, camera work, animation, choreography, and storyboard, all of which exceeded the expectations of fans. They lauded the staff members for their exceptional work in the episode.
Some even went on to say that the anime adaptation of the episode was better than its portrayal in the manga in a way that it elevated the source material to the next level, especially in its depiction of Choso’s blood manipulation technique.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It is currently being serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since March 2018. The Jujutsu Kaisen chapters are collected and published by Shueisha, with 23 tankobon volumes released as of July 2023.
