The Pokémon Company Donates 50 Million Yen For Earthquake Relief & Recovery In Japan

In the wake of the devastating Noto Peninsula earthquake that struck on Jan 1, 2023, The Pokémon Company has stepped forward announcing its commitment to aiding the victims and supporting recovery efforts.

Taking to Twitter on Jan 5, 2023, the company expressed its heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the disaster, and pledged a donation of 50 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society. This contribution is intended to support the ongoing relief operations and aid in the recovery of the affected areas.

Moreover, the company will also channel support through the Pokémon With You Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation. The foundation will focus on initiatives dedicated to restoring joy to the lives of children adversely affected by the earthquake.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to those affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024.

In response to the disaster, The Pokémon Company has decided to contribute 50 million yen as a donation to the Japanese Red Cross Society for relief efforts and to support organizations aiding the recovery of the affected areas.
