Popular light novel series Spice and Wolf’s new anime adaptation will officially air starting this April!

A New Year-themed visual starring an energetic Holo was released along with the announcement.

Titled Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf, the new anime series will be directed by Takeo Takahashi and Hijiri Sanpei at Passione. Jun Fukuyama and Ami Koshimizu will return to voice Kraft Lawrence and Holo respectively.

Originally written by Isuna Hasekura, the series was first adapted into a TV anime in 2008 and went on to receive a second season in 2009, as well as game and manga adaptations.

The story follows Kraft Lawrence, a young travelling merchant who gains an unusual companion – a wolf goddess named Holo, who wishes to see the world after becoming disillusioned with the town she has blessed.

Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf will air from April 2024.
