The official Twitter account of Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights Of The Apocalypse anime dropped a new teaser trailer introducing the new protagonist Percival on Jan 24, 2023. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS will be responsible for producing and planning the anime.
The trailer revealed that the anime will air in 2023. The exact date is yet to be announced.
It was also revealed that Percival will be voiced by Shou Komura. Checkout the translation of Shou’s comment regarding the role below:
My name is Shou Komura and I will be playing the role of Percival. I am very honored to be involved in such a wonderful production. I am so excited that I can hardly stand still, but I am sure that this is the same excitement that Percival feels when he is about to embark on an adventure. Four Knights of the Apocalypse also known as The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is a Japanese adventure and fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. It is a sequel to Suzuki’s previous series, The Seven Deadly Sins.
The manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since January 2021, with its chapters collected into ten tankobon volumes as of January 2023.
The manga is digitally published in North America as it is released in Japan, with Kodansha USA licensing the series for publication in English on Crunchyroll Manga, BookWalker, ComiXology and Amazon Kindle.
